HabitOak is a private, offline habit tracker where each habit you tend grows into an animated tree. Check in daily to plant leaves, build streaks, unlock achievements, and watch your personal grove expand over time. The app runs entirely on your device — no accounts, no cloud sync, and no internet connection required.
The app stores your habits, daily completions, streak history, notes, achievements, and preferences locally on your device so it can remember your grove between sessions. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, advertising identifier, or any other personal information.
HabitOak stores the following information on-device only:
All data is stored using Hive, a local embedded database. Nothing is transmitted to any server, ever.
HabitOak does not include any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporters, or third-party data processors. There are no cookies, fingerprinting scripts, or tracking pixels of any kind.
We do not know who uses the app, how often it is used, or what habits you track.
HabitOak works entirely offline. The app makes no network requests at runtime. All features — habit creation, completions, charts, heatmaps, notes, and achievements — function without any internet connectivity.
The data described above is used solely to make HabitOak work correctly on your device — displaying your grove, tracking your streaks, rendering history charts, and persisting your preferences between sessions.
We do not use any information for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any other purpose.
We do not share any information with third parties. There are no advertising SDKs, analytics providers, crash reporters, or data brokers integrated into HabitOak.
The share function (Profile → Share grove) composes a text message on your device and passes it to your operating system's native share sheet. HabitOak never sees where you share or what you do with that message.
All grove data — habits, completions, notes, streaks, and settings — is stored locally using Hive (on both Android and iOS). Deleting the app removes all locally stored data immediately as part of the standard uninstall process on both platforms.
We do not retain any information after you delete the app. There is no remote copy of your data.
Because HabitOak stores all data locally on your device, you have complete control at all times. You can reset your entire grove at any time via Settings → Reset entire grove, or delete the app to remove all associated data permanently.

HabitOak is suitable for users of all ages. The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Because no personal data is collected from any user, there is no differentiated treatment based on age.
