Sniffies is a calm, single-player word-trail puzzle that runs entirely on your device. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and does not do with information.
Sniffies does not ask you to sign in, does not show ads, and does not need an internet connection to play. Everything you do — your progress, stars, settings, and the name you choose — stays on your device.
The app may use a device identifier on the device to support basic app functionality and to remember your preferences between sessions. It saves your game progress — completed trails, earned stars, Embers, unlocked regions, your chosen name and emblem, and your accessibility settings — in local storage on your device.
Sniffies does not collect contact details, location, photos, or any personal profile information.

Your progress and preferences are stored locally on your device. They remain until you delete them by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. Removing the app removes the saved information with it.
Sniffies is family-friendly and suitable for all ages. It does not knowingly gather personal information from children, and there is no sign-up, chat, or social feature anywhere in the app.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published here with a new date at the top. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
